This rock supergroup hails from the heart of North America, the home of all things musical; central New Jersey. All the members are masters of their art and have been playing since before they were born. Their families all have extensive musical backgrounds. They have had much experience in other bands but none quite met their lofty aspirations.

Vito worked briefly with Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, but it didn’t last long due to creative differences, as well as Vito having served a short time in rehab for allegedly exposing himself to young girls. Kevin played in a few local Jazz and Blues bands in New Orleans. He jammed with some great musicians, among them Louis Armstong, Miles Davis, and B.B. King. His age is unknown at this time. Mike and David started playing for the troops of the Vietnam War under the moniker Happy Ending. After the war, they split up, as being together brought back horrible memories of the war. Mike went on to develop a taste for Vietnamese hookers and spent a short time in jail. Mike’s musical career after the war didn’t flourish until he got a gig singing on Milli Vanilli's debut album, which of course, didn’t end well. David, on the other hand, went on to play for various bluegrass bands and was one of the founding members of Flatt and Scruggs. Chewy, the bands drummer, made his musical debut as the percussionist for the Star Wars Cantina group in the original Star Wars movie. Having his career peak at such an early point was detrimental; everything has been downhill for him as he turned to drinking, drugs, and prostitution.

In the Summer of 2008, as fate would have it, Chewy answered a personal ad on craigslist, and would go on to meet a woman named Michelle, or, as he would later find out, a man named Mike. They seemed to hit it off, and in the midst of conversation, Mike mentioned he was getting his old band back together with David and needed a drummer. Chewy "auditioned" for the spot and got the gig. Although the chemistry was good, the sound wasn’t complete as more guitars were needed to fill out the sound. Mike and Dave mentioned this to Chewy, who vaugely remebered Kevin and Vito from when he used to play with them in a band called HI-V. It seemed as if the line-up for the future of rock was now complete, in the form of the band Aversion.

Aversion is a melting pot of different musical styles as diverse as the members' backgrounds. Its fusion of classic and modern rock make it unique and different with an in your face attitude. It has a subtle complexity and is unique in its arrangement of different parts that work melodically without being over the top. It’s a new age for rock, which has Aversion at the forefront.
